I'm voting for #2. In my mind, that's a fairly bold print for a sundress (at least a sundress that I'd consider buying/wearing if I were into buying/wearing sundresses). It would also make a nice sleeveless jersey for one really tall fella to wear in Wisconsin come around the June time frame ;)

I probably won't go for a shift dress, though. It might suit the fabric better, but it wouldn't suit my figure at all. Shifts and sheathes just don't do so well for me...my shape requires that my clothes make a few polite insinuations about what *might* hide beneath them!

[WORDPRESS HASHCASH] The poster sent us '0 which is not a hashcash value.

I love Shannon's idea. The print is so busy I think you need a shift-type dress. Or else just a skirt. Like I know anything!

See I would go for the a-line because you could wear it more places.
That an the fabric says "number 2" to me.

I'm thinking something along the lines of a 60s shift dress http://ny-image2.etsy.com/il_430xN.21820378.jpg (the second one on the left), or maybe the a-line one you posted. Something like this could work: http://ny-image1.etsy.com/il_430xN.17873741.jpg

What ever you decide, it'll be a fun dress!

That is indeed some awesome fabric! I think I would go with the first dress. It seems to complement the Hawaiian-like feeling of the fabric a little better.
