Joel asked me to marry him. I told him, “yes, absolutely I will marry you.”
I’m not a real big poster of super-personal stuff on my site, usually, but I really do think this merits a bit of fanfare. Because I’m crazy-stupid happy and giddy and generally given to squeeing right now.
We’d been talking about marriage-stuff, and looked at rings a while back. I found one I liked and showed it to Joel not so long ago. As we were getting breakfast together this morning, when I came back from the kitchen with the coffee cups, a little white box was waiting on my placemat.
So, it’s all official, and I’m just as happy as can be.

Yeah, Harsh is a good friend of mine. One of the usual Friz suspects.
I don’t do as many biking events as I might…certainly not this time of year, since I spend exactly as much time as I can stand outside on my commute. As the weather improves, though I’ll get out and about more. You’ll recognise me by my workboots which scandalize most normal cyclists.
