When I was at the drugstore buying the digital rectal thermometer I’ve got to use on the cat, I ran into one of the Rollerderby girls I met on Sunday. More specifically, the very kind Rollerderby girl who lent me her spare pair of skates.
Within about 10 minutes of conversation, we mutually learned that we live within blocks of one another, both have cats, and are both Michelles.
She’s going to be one of the volunteers for the Thursday pre-season practice sessions so I’m sure I’ll see her again soon.
